Grandmaster and Dr. Pang Ming was born  on September 1940 in Dingxing County, Hebei Province, China. Professor Pang was influenced by the practice of traditional Chinese medicine, qigong and martial arts since he was very young.In 1958 he graduated from Beijing Medical College in Western Medicine and worked as a doctor in Beijing. Meantime, he studied Chinese medicine at the Beijing Chinese Medicine Association. After graduating, he worked as a Doctor and used Chinese Medicine and Western medicine in the clinic, and it was during this time that he started to earnestly study qigong. In the beginning, he studied Buddhism and learned a Buddhist style of qigong. In 1964, he began increasing his training in martial arts

After 1970, he followed the teachings of various grandmasters of Daoist and traditional qigong, researching the many Daoist texts on qigong.He studied confucianism、Daoist、Buddhism、Medicine、Martial arts and .Folk qigong know-how from nineteen teachers regularly.

 His knowledge into both Chinese and Western medicine provided a very strong foundation for his research in qigong. At the same time, his knowledge of qigong also greatly improved his medical practice.He treated a lot of severe illness in  the clinical .

In 1979 Dr. Pang founded the first qigong organization for the public, named the Beijing Qigong Research Society.
Dr. Pang started to research the traditional forms of qigong and to make improvements, creating Zhineng Qigong. Since that time he has traveled to more than 30 provinces and cities in China to give lectures on qigong. He was widely accepted and highly respected by qigong practitioners.
In 1988 he created the Hebei Shijiazhuang Zhineng Qigong College.
In November of 1991 he moved the Center to Hebei Qinhuandao and changed the name to the Hua Xia Zhineng Qigong Training, Healing and Research Center. In 1995, the Huaxia Healing Center moved to  location: Fengrun, a small village,  Tangshan city,  in Hebei Province.

Through enormous scientific research (3000 research papers were published during the ’90s), and more than 20 years of experimenting with Qigong healing, Wisdom Healing Qigong has developed into a scientific system of working with energy to improve life including healing. He has published more than 10 books to present this cultural treasure to humanity.

Dr. Pang Ming is the founder of Zhineng Qigong and we call him Laoshi lovingly. He is not only a knowledgeable, rigorous and realistic scholar of Qigong, but also the pioneer of Qigong science.
 
Influenced by Qigong, TCM and martial arts in infancy, he learned Western medicine, TCM and Buddhism later. Also he practiced the Buddhist methods, martial arts and Taoist methods, and apprenticed with nineteen accomplished teachers of Qigong and martial arts. His main works includes seventeen books, Deep Study of Qigong, Concise ZHINENG QIGONG Study , Outline of ZHINENG QIGONG Science, Foundation of ZHINENG QIGONG ScienceHUN YUAN Oneness Theory, Essentials of ZHINENG QIGOGN Science, Methodology of ZHINENG QIGONG Science and Technology of ZHINENG QIGONG Science and etc.
